What's the Buzz?

Buzzy Bee is a program created exclusively by Randallstown Elementary School faculty to help our students prepare for our annual spelling bee. Each week, spelling words are presented in a puppet show skit starring Buzzy Bee (The Spelling Bee!) that is broadcast for the entire school after morning announcements. Teachers and students incorporate the Buzzy Bee words into instruction throughout the week, helping to solidify student understanding of the words' spelling and context.

On April 29, each classroom will have an in-class competition to determine semifinalists. Semifinalists will advance to the semifinals assembly held in the cafeteria for Grades 3, 4 and 5 on May 15.

Our Final spelling bee will take place on
May 22, 2008 at 6:30 pm in the RES Cafeteria.
